Kevin Costner rumors and Wes Bentley: 'They're still working on it'
Wes Bentley, who plays on the popular Paramount Network series "Yellowstone," has responded to the reports involving the Kevin Costner destiny.
According to a Deadline story, the Taylor Sheridan-produced western series "Yellowstone" may be coming to an end.
Due to scheduling issues with Costner, 68, who allegedly wanted to cut down on the amount of time he spent shooting the project.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Bentley, who plays John Dutton said, "The news that's come out lately about the show is, you know, above my pay grade.
On Thursday, Costner's attorney, Marty Singer, dismissed rumors that star was unwilling to put in as much effort to shoot "Yellowstone" seasons 5 and 6.
"It’s ridiculous, and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second, he added.
Costner's departure from "Yellowstone" at the end of season 5 was denied earlier this month by Paramount Network.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Singer said, "The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of 'Yellowstone' is an absolute lie."
In an interview with TV Line last week, Bentley discussed how the patriarch's passing might impact his character.
"I thought about this in season 1," the actor said while attending SCAD TVFest.
